IT System Engineer & Support

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the analysis, engineering, performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, problem resolution and customer care of infrastructure solutions in a global organization.
Required Technical Knowledge and Experience:
* Able to setup, configure and maintain Exchange 2003/2007 (Mandatory)
* Able to migrate Exchange 2000/2003 spread in several countries to a single Exchange 2007 organization will be a plus (Microsoft Exchange Certification is a plus)
* Good knowledge in System Security in a Windows Environment (WSUS), Antivirus solution (preferably Eset), SPAM & Web Content Filtering (Squid or SquidNT), Firewall (IPCOP or untangle)
* Good Knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008 managing shares and security
* Good Knowledge of Windows XP / 7
* Good knowledge in LAN & WAN Connectivity, Wireless and Remote Access Connectivity
* Knowledge in Storage Area Networks (SAN) & Network Attached Storage (NAS) is a plus
* Knowledge in Data Backup, Archival & Restoration is a plus
* Able to troubleshoot Desktop/Laptop Computers, and printers
* Able to help and train users (Office, etc)
* Able to create and maintain IT procedures, documentation and policies in English (Mandatory)
* Eager to improve continually the IT Architecture with the best and most economical solutions
* Familiar with freeware
Personal Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience required
* Minimum 2 years of supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange in a small to medium enterprise
* Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Window’s Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, SQL, AD Replication, Group Policy, IIS, TCP/IP
* Strong technical/analytical skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory
* Ability to listen attentively; display patience and flexibility
* Analyze complex situations and provide effective solutions
* Make independent decisions using sound judgment
* Organize and prioritize work load
* Well organized, high attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
* Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment and prioritize tasks
* Microsoft Certification is a plus
