CNOOC SES Ltd , an international company based in Jakarta is requiring professional with international experiences to join the team.

Geologist - Jakarta

Responsibilities

* Interprets well log analysis and generates maps of key markers within the prospect area.
* Reviews the proposal of exploration and development wells by evaluating the structure maps, isopach maps, seismic interpretation of key markers, and also the regional markers in those prospect areas.
* Evaluates the hydrocarbon potential of the open acreage, investigates the oil generating capabilities of a region, determines the likelihood of pertinent sells, reservoirs and trap types and proposes buying exploration data to the management for detail evaluation.

Requirements

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.
* Having at least 3 years of experience in the related field
* Required skill(s): Knowledge in Petroleum Geology, Structural Geology, Seismic Interpretation, Sequence or Seismic Stratigraphy, Log Evaluation, Risk Analysis.
* Experienced in generating exploration prospects, generating and proposing development well prospects, overseas job training, and working in other basins.
* Associated abilities: Flexibility to switch from one pressing area of work to another, tenacity to handle a wide variety of tasks with different priorities, patience and perseverance to work with available data within tight time constraints to come up with a working model or a reasonable conclusion.
* Full-Time positions available.

Production Database Engineer - Jakarta

Requirements

* University Degree in Engineering, Geology, or Mathematics.
* Minimum 2 - 5 years experience in the oil industry preferably.
* Have experience with Database Language with PL/SQL and Programming with Visual Basic or VBA.
* Competent with applications that are being utilized to support production operation, such as TOW/CS, OFM.
* Good analytical thinking and hard working.
* Team working oriented and good communication skills.

Geophysicist - Jakarta

Responsibilities

* Perform geophysical interpretation on any assigned area for prospect generation and potential area identification
* Conduct a complete seismic interpretation for prospect generation.
* Define and perform attribute analyses that appropriate in prospect generation.
* Performs discussion and suggestion in the team to share findings and achieve good result.
* Assist Senior Geophysics and Geophysical Specialist in preparing geophysical project (in-house or outsourced).
* Update the knowledge on routine activity in seismic interpretation technique.
* Weekly report of any geophysical activities.

Requirements

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): knowledge and skill in petroleum geology and geophysics, reservoir characteristics, seismic analysis.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field.
* Full-Time positions available.
